We cannot control the weather but what we can control are our actions in the wake of its devastating effects. Following the extreme flooding across Trinidad on the weekend of October 19th, 2018 which prompted the declaration of a national disaster, many citizens of Trinidad & Tobago responded with an abundance of caring and compassion, generosity and selflessness.
Among them were staff of Eve Anderson Recruitment and Caribbean Resourcing Solutions who teamed up with volunteers from the ‘Song of Hope’ charity group to provide desperately needed assistance, relief and support to flood victims in Sangre Grande with a free pop-up clinic at SWAHA Hindu College on Sunday 28th October.
Beneficiaries received hot meals, hampers of staple food items and cleaning supplies while Dr. Roger Lue Chin administered medical assistance and treatment to those in need.
